I Got It: Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp!

Aww...isn't it beautiful? The lamp I bought! =)

Last week, prior to Chinese New Year I bought this Himalayan Crystal Salt lamp! I have always wanted to lay my hands on one of these orange coloured stones. Finally!!! Ha =)

After a quick check, I found out that Himalayan Crystal Salt was formed millions of years ago when the ancient sea (wow, talking about age) dried up. Through continental drift and the movement of tectonic plate (geography?), layers of dried salt were moved to always-deeper regions of our planet. A part of this salt ended up deep beneath the Himalayas; at over 8000m above sea level they are the highest mountains on earth. This pressure was the cause of the formation of this crystal salt. The higher the compression, the more perfect the crystalline structure. It was never exposed to any pollutants.

Well, the list go on and on and on...so here's some quick facts that i found from the internet:
  • World's highest elemental content with 88 of the nutritional elements we need.
  • Pure, unpolluted, without environmental impact - from a time when the earth was pristine.
  • Contains no impurities from environmental pollution.
  • High inherent stored information from 250 million years ago - Himalayan Crystal Salts are primarily a storage medium. This special salt is waiting for its moment to have its inherent stored energy, its bio-photon content, set free, by adding water.
And here are the facts provided by the promoter who sold me the lamp:
  • Eliminates insects & disintegrates tobacco smoke
  • Improve immune system
  • Suppresses bacteria & eliminates bad odor
  • Minimizes asthma attack
  • Relieve stress
  • Purifies air
  • Improves memory & vitality (SURE OR NOT?)
  • Reduce insonia
  • Wards off evil (Exorcism?)
  • Energy
  • Prevent Radiation
Gosh, with plethora of benefits I can refuse to fork out my money right? Yeah, and for only RM30 ($10), this is more than just a bargain right? After I unwrapped it, I placed this warm-looking stone in my parents room. Yupe, I wanted my parents to enjoy the benefits that this stone provide. Aww...it's really beautiful! Will get one for myself soon. How about you? Be a filial children and get your parents one!!! Hurry! =)
