Yummy! So many berries!
Yupe! It is known that berries is darn good for you. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and whatever-berries is good for you! Why? Because these berries are packed with tonnes (exaggerated a little) of antioxidants!
Antioxidant rich berries have shown to preserve learning motor skills from the onset of aging. Researchers with the Agricultural Research Service tested the effect of feeding small groups of lab rats (why not us-homo sapian?) diets supplemented with strawberry and blueberry extracts.
Compared to the rats which weren't fed the fruity diets, the test group demonstrated better result overall. The extract dose was equivalent to about a pint of whole berries per day for an adult human. So guys, what are you waiting! Go get your berries!
