As we step into the vibrant and festive spirit of Chinese New Year 2025, I find my heart filled with joy and anticipation. This year holds a special place in my heart as it's the first time our beloved little Jadiel, now a curious 1-year-old, will be joining in the celebrations together with me, my wife and his two older siblings-Jordan boy and Jasmine girl. Watching the wonder in his eyes as he experiences the glowing lanterns and clattering fireworks for the first time is truly a magical moment for our family.

It encourages us to be intuitive and thoughtful, qualities I'm eager to explore both in my personal life and our family adventures with Jordan, Jasmine and Jadiel.

Cherished Traditions and Family Moments

Around our home, preparations are in full swing. Our humble abode is adorned with red and gold, echoing wishes for prosperity and luck. We’ve already begun practicing family traditions — from indulging in delicious dumplings that symbolize fortune, to sharing the precious moments of giving and receiving red envelopes filled with good wishes. It's these simple, heartfelt traditions that remind us of our roots and the joy in togetherness.

With the start of this new lunar year, I find myself reflecting on growth and resilience. I’m inspired by the notion of setting intentions that bring about personal and family growth. Whether it’s finding more moments to be present with our 3 children or learning new skills to enrich my career, this year promises to be a journey of mindful exploration.
