A new teaser from Nike's social media pages suggests that the two giants are taking things to the next level.

Following Nike's announcement of a new partnership with Fortnite, the two companies have officially launched their "Airphoria" initiative. This first-of-its-kind work offers experiences and mementoes in both the physical and digital worlds. Hence, Fortnite gamers who happen to be fans of Nike will be in for a treat for sure!

Welcome to Fortnite X Nike Airphoria Island

The 25-second video begins with the Fortnite and Nike Air Max insignia appearing together against a cloudy background. Then, an "Airphoria" logo is filled with air, and the date June 20 is displayed as a teaser. Notably, the Unreal Engine and.SWOOSH logos are present, signifying collaboration with both the Fortnite video game and Nike's new Web3 platform. In another caption, the event is described as "the ultimate sneakerhunt," commencing on the 20th of June 2023.

First, a new Airphoria Island has been added to Fortnite. This island is a city that captures the spirit of Air Max. This area has five "Air Max Grails"—the Air Max 1, the Air Max 97, the Air Max TW, the Air Max Scorpion, and the Air Max Pulse—that can be collected to get an in-game prize, the Air Max 1 '86 Back Bling. Airie and Maxxed Out Max are two new outfits that can be bought for the game. These characters are made up of known parts from the Air Max line. They also have matching pickaxes, gliders, emotes, loading screens, and other items.
