Similar to DJI's Pocket devices, the Feiyu Pocket 3 is a detachable 3-axis gimbal camera that fits into a jacket pocket when not in use. This allows you to capture stabilised video on the go without carrying heavy equipment. Essentially, you receive a handheld camera, an action camera, and a remote with a real-time display, making it a versatile tool for various video capture requirements.

The Feiyu Pocket 3 appears to be a typical compact handheld camera, with a gimbal camera on top and a grip with integrated controls and a small full-color LCD. The camera can record 4K video at 60fps and capture 12 megapixel stills with a 130-degree field of view, making it suitable for modern content creation requirements. Take advantage of the available slow-motion mode. You can now shoot slow motion 1080p videos at 240fps and 720p videos ay 480 fps. The built-in three-axis gimbal ensures that your footage will be seamless and jitter-free, and the built-in joystick allows for manual control. The SD card port on the gimbal camera's base can accommodate memory cards with a maximum capacity of 512GB.

Interestingly, the camera gimbal is actually wirelessly coupled with the grip, so there is no actual wired connection between them. Instead, it is magnetically attached to the top of the handle, making it effortless to attach and remove.

The Feiyu Pocket 3 enables the gimbal camera to be detached from the handle and mounted anywhere for use as a standalone action cam. Using the magnets at the base, you should be able to place it on flat surfaces and even ferromagnetic surfaces without any additional accessories. However, it comes with an expansion base that can be attached to make it compatible with any tripod, a small tripod to give you more options when setting it up on flat surfaces, and two harnesses that can be used to secure it to helmets, skateboards, and bicycle handlebars. Note that the gimbal and handheld handle must be within three feet of each other in order to control the gimbal or view real-time footage (any further and you risk compromising the connection).

The internal battery is rated for 60 minutes of runtime when shooting in 1080p, so there isn't much juice here, particularly if you're capturing 4K video.
