For those who love taking selfies and are always limited by the length of your arm or your camera lens, then you will need Pixy-the self-flying selfie drone from Snap. Officially unveiled by Snap, Pixy is like your personal assistant to snap all your selfies. You can think of it as your Tinkerbell of pixie who will be accompanying you all the time.

You can see Pixy's chassis, which is made up of four fans. It's small enough to fit in the palm of one's hand. In the words of its creators, Pixy was supposed to follow its user, take pictures and capture videos, and then deliver them to the Snapchat app. Snap hopes that people would use the drone to create video selfies instead of holding their phones, which is what it expects them to do with it.

Pixy is your very own personal assistant!

At the very least, since changing its name to Snap and releasing the Spectacles, Pixy is the first physical product from the company. With a 115-degree lens, Snap is capable of taking amazing pictures and videos that will be worthy of your social media feeds. I thought it is pretty snazzy to have your own mini "fairy" to help you record your important videos.

Hands-free experience for content creators!

With a full charge, the Pixy's battery should be able to deliver five to eight flights, each lasting approximately 10 to 20 seconds. In addition, Snap sells a dual-battery charger for $50 (RM220) in addition to the individual batteries, which cost $20 (RM89). In addition to its small size, the drone is also extremely light, weighing only 101g. So it will be very pocketable and mobile, allowing you to bring it around quite conveniently.

On paper, Pixy's camera is also capable of recording up to 100 films and capturing 1000 images. All these photos and video clips will then be saved on Pixy's 16GB internal memory. It is a shame that only 16GB of internal storage is included. The company should be more generous with the available space and unfortunately, it appears that there is no SD card slot. Another drawback is the absence of a controller. Yupe! Pixy will be shadowing you even without you commanding it to do so with a joystick.
