June is just around the corner and as expected Oreo is embracing the rainbow for the upcoming month. Have you seen Oreo's Pride Month rainbow cookies yet? The cookie company will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community by releasing an official Pride pack in cooperation with PFLAG National next month.
Oreo's Pride Month Rainbow Cookies
This is the third consecutive year that Oreo and PFLAG National have teamed together. PFLAG is the largest organisation for LGBTQ+ people, their families and allies in the United States today. Also, in the spirit of love, the package is made to be customised and given away. Yes! You can write your own personalized message to give to someone you know.
Collaboration Between Oreo and PFLAG National
Authentic words of affection for the LGBTQ+ community, sourced from actual, longtime allies, adorn the packaging of the Pride Pack. Customers are also urged to write "individual letters of allyship before sharing cookies with their loved ones" in a designated area of the store.
Oreo Cookies with the "Proud" Stamp
What's even better is that the famous Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies that go inside are now stamped with the word "Proud." So, every bite of these Oreo Pride Month Rainbow Cookies will make you proud of yourself and the ones who support you. The pre-sale for the limited-edition Oreo Pride Pack is now open. In-store availability in the USA begins on the 18th of May 2022.

What do you notice about this packaging?
In April, Oreo demonstrated its support for the LGBTQ+ community by releasing a two-and-a-half-minute short film. This short clip depicts a son coming out of the closest out to his family. This heart-warming short video is directed by Alice Wu, who was also in charge of the critically acclaimed LGBT films Saving Face and The Half of It.

Oreo asserted on Twitter that coming out is a journey that necessitates support and love along the way. Customers have been asked to spread the word about their new video and how you may be someone's lifelong ally. Oreo has recently launched a number of new limited-edition flavours, including the Oreo Pride Month Rainbow cookies for the month of June.
Write Your Message of Support on the Oreo Pride Package
On March 6, the Nabisco-owned brand celebrated its 110th birthday by releasing a limited-edition Chocolate Confetti Cake with rainbow sprinkles both inside and on the cookie. Vanilla creme with sprinkles is the first layer of the creme filling, which is then followed by a layer of chocolate creme. With it sits a thick chocolate cake flavouring cream. I still could not get a hold of these exclusive anniversary cookies from Oreo. Perhaps one day!

This Pride, we’ve worked with @PFLAG to create a Pride pack that’s also a love letter to the LGBTQ+ community. It’s covered with real words of support from real allies, and we’ve left a space for every #LifelongAlly to add a personal message of their own. pic.twitter.com/ml9JKfuIQL

Oreo also introduced Mocha Caramel Latte Chocolate Oreos in April. The coffeehouse staple was given a fun twist with two layers of creamy cream flavouring: caramel and mocha latte! This is perfect for a caffeine addict like me.
What Will You Write For Your Friend for Pride Month?
Over the years, Oreo has released a variety of limited edition flavours. It doesn't matter what the occasion calls for: a birthday cake with lemon curd or Neapolitan cream cheese frosting, a watermelon or strawberry n' cream slice, sakura matcha oreo or an apple cider doughnut topped with salted caramel and topped with chocolate hazelnut ganache. You can even order fruit punch with lemon curd or Neapolitan cream cheese frosting.
