Pizza Hut and Domino's have been going head-to-head for years, each trying to outdo the other with creative promotions to draw in customers.

Oreo Pizza Debuts in Pizza Hut Taiwan

The "No. 1 Salted Chicken Pizza in Taiwan" is a new innovation by Pizza Hut in Taiwan, which is closing in on the competition. Despite its simple name, the pizza is more than meets the eye or should I say the name. Besides Oreo cookies, there will also be the iconic Taiwanese fried chicken popcorn and the equally famous fried squid rings.

A Combination of Oreo, Fried Chicken, Calamari & Pizza

These bizarre or rather exotic Oreo pizzas were made public on the 10th of May 2022. For NT$399 (US$13.40), you may get a large pizza that will feed you and your friends. This flower-shaped pizza included a ring of dark Oreos encased in a cheese-filled dough when the top was lifted. When all else fails, the Oreos themselves were also covered with Parmesan cheese shreds, making this even more mind-boggling. At first glance, the pizza had a strong visual effect, but a deeper study uncovered even more intriguing discoveries in the topping.

Popcorn chicken, often known as "Taiwanese fried chicken," is a popular street snack in Taiwan. Chicken and your choice of vegetables are frequently fried in oil and served on the spot by street vendors, so you may enjoy them with a cold drink while they are still hot. Because they'd been baked alongside the pizza, the Oreos' crunchiness had been greatly diminished, making for an unusually soft texture that complemented the dough well. One of the surprises was the flavour, which was a lovely harmony of the creaminess of both the cheese and Oreo cookies. Combined with the dough, it was like eating a sweet chocolate bun, and it was very amazing!
