From the start, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 appears to be a Microsoft Surface Pro with gamer-like flair. Consider it a strong Windows gaming tablet, complete with a detachable full-sized RGB-backlit keyboard and a 170° kickstand. The tablet's display is 13.4-inches diagonally with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and you can choose between a WUXGA IPS panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 4K IPS panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Both are touchscreen displays with Adaptive-Sync, cover 100% of the sRGB gamut, and have a brightness of 500nits.

Meanwhile, the other two variants include an Intel Core i9-12900H processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. These higher-spec variants also include a more powerful RTX 3050 Ti, albeit the GPUs in all three models are limited to a 40W TGP. You'll also discover a MUX switch, which allows you to disable the integrated graphics and use the full capability of the discrete graphics. All of this is cooled using a vapour chamber cooling system with liquid metal, which Asus claims will keep it quiet even when fully loaded.

If you intend to sit down and play the latest video games with the ROG Flow Z13, the top-spec model will also include an integrated ROG XG Mobile eGPU. This model includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a TGP of 150W. All of this is powered by an included 280W power supply designed specifically for the eGPU. With an SD card reader slot, an HDMI 2.0b port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, an Ethernet port, and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 connections, the ROG XG Mobile also functions as a USB-C hub.
