Terrible Service at Perodua Roda Juara Automobile Taman IKS Merdeka

I had to experience terrible service at Perodua Roda Juara Automobile Taman IKS Merdeka no thanks to one of their rude Perodua mechanic! TERRIBLE!

Today turned out to be a really bad day for me when I visited Perodua Roda Juara Automobile service Centre in Taman IKS Merdeka, Melaka. Initially, I was happy that I could finally send my car for a follow-up inspection that has something to do with the "timing" of my car engine. However, when the rude Perodua mechanic came and had a look, he vehemently blamed me for what had happened and exhibited terrible attitudes throughout our conversations! Do note that this service centre is a direct dealership for Perodua!

To provide you with some back story, I had sent my car for a major service last month (11th of March 2021) and I had to leave my car overnight. I willingly obliged as I was supposed to believe in the expertise of the Perodua mechanics, right? The next day when I came to collect the car, I did notice that the timing of my engine was way off. However, as I was in a hurry I had to leave first. Do note that my car did not experience any timing problem before being serviced by the said Perodua mechanic.

This bad experience shattered my TRUST for Perodua!

One customer service officer from the service centre did call up later and asked for my feedback. I told her that my car engine was suffering from horrific "high" timing after my service at the Perodua Roda Juara Automobile Service Centre in Taman IKS Merdeka. She quickly apologised and told me to bring my car to the centre of reinspection. I was glad that the company was very responsible and wanted to rectify any problem that I am facing.

The rude Perodua mechanic tried to push the blame towards me!

However, when I finally had the opportunity to send my car to the centre again, I had to face ridicule and mockery from the rude Perodua mechanic whose attitude was not acceptable at all! Even the customer service officer standing next to him knew that his tone and manner was way out of line! He made it sound like it was me who had caused my own car to suffer from the unbelievably "high-timing" problem!

Instead of helping me to solve the problem, he became the problem!

Truth to be told: It was not my fault to begin with. The onus is on the rude Perodua mechanic who had serviced my car in the first place. I tried to speak to him nicely but he soon turned defensive and abusive. He kept on hurling baseless accusations and blames which alluded to me messing up with the car or perhaps my ways of driving? I felt really disgusted with the way the snobbish Perodua mechanic had spoken; His comments were riddled with insult and was obviously lacking in manner. In the end, he just walked away with his arrogant pride in check which further enraged me!

You are not supposed to be rude to your polite customers!

I came to this Perodua service centre happily, hoping that my car could be fixed and instead I was verbally "slapped" with contempt and indignity. I have been servicing my car here for 10 years and because of this 1 rude Perodua mechanic, I am never ever going to send my car to this Perodua Roda Juara Automobile IKS Merdeka Service Centre for maintenance and service anymore! It is a shame that it takes just one person to tarnish the reputation of a company. Today that rude mechanic had shattered all the trust that I had for this place.

When you are right, nobody remembers!
When you are WRONG, nobody FORGETS!

Let's see if I am going to get any response from Perodua or the management of Roda Juara Automobile Service Centre at Taman IKS Merdeka. If no action is taken or no response is provided, it goes to show that after-sales or after-maintenance service and follow-up is non-existent for Perodua and the service centre. Either way, I am utterly disappointed with my terrible experience today as I have not expected this to happen!

What a shame!

Why can't someone speak politely in a refined and polite way? I spoke in a polite manner and all I got was a rude mechanic who was ignorant and aloof! After all, I am paying for all these services and maintenance. It is not FREE ok! Perodua and the management of Roda Juara Automobile, please educate your employees who can either make or break you! I hope others do not face what I had to endure today!

With such a RUDE Perodua Mechanic around,
this lousy Perodua Service Centre deserves ZERO STAR!

If you do not want to RISK meeting such a RUDE Perodua Mechanic, then do not visit the following Perodua Service centre in Melaka, which is the WORST so far:
