If you can't get your hands on the original Air Jordan 1, you can choose to make do with this pair of Air Jordan 1 Mid "Banned" version. Though many vow that nothing beats the OG, I believe that this mid version is still not that bad, no? Ever since The Last Dance was aired, demand of Air Jordan 1 has skyrocketed and it is getting increasingly difficult to buy the Original Air Jordan 1 such as Chicago, Royal or Bred. Hence the release of this sneakers.

Fans who cannot afford to the expensive resold Air Jordan A1s, will appreciate this pair of "watered-down" version of the originals. Set to be released in a "Bred" impersonating "Banned" colourway, this footwear will definitely be well-received by those who want a taste of the classics. However, some fans argue that although it looks a bit similar, it is not identical in terms of styles and the aura that it exudes. What say you?

I am digging this Air Jordan 1 Mid

Just like the original, this pair of Mid "Banned" Air Jordan 1 sports supple leather upper complete with a charcoal black base and fiery red toeboxes, the iconic Swooshes, heel  overlays and collar hits. Unlike the originals, the middle eyestays of Mid "Banned" Air Jordan 1 are painted in red instead of the usual black; Besides a Jumpman logo has replaced the OG Nike Air Hit for the tongues of the shoes. You can spot the signature black ball-and-wings logo on the collar flaps and white midsoles together with red outsoles.

What do you think about this version of Air Jordan 1 Mid "Banned"? I sincerely believe that this pair of footwear is not too bad and it is mighty close to the original Air Jordan 1, right? It comes with a price tag of only US$110 (RM450) which I thought is really affordable. For more information, head over to Asphalt Gold's official website.
