Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball have just released the latest "Nike KD 13 Aunt Pearl" sneakers. For the uninitiated, it sounds a bit funny but its underlying meaning and story behind it will definitely leave a lump in your throat. This tradition of collaboration has been ongoing for years all the way back to 2012. So the Nike KD 13 Aunt Pearl is actually a tribute to Durant's late Aunt Pearl who unfortunately passed away in year 2000 after battling lung cancer for almost a decade.

The Nike KD 13 Aunt Pearl is actually the 10th pair of Aunt Pearl from this decade-long collaboration between Nike and Durant. Though it does look similar in terms of the familiar pink colour scheme, the latest iteration does have its own unique details. For starter, most of the synthetic upper is coated with the pleasantly light and airy "Pink Foam". Then you will notice the low-slung lateral Swoosh which make their presence felt right to the midsole. Interestingly, the collar flap is adorned with a small Swoosh that is metallic silver in colour.

The collar flap of Nike KD 13 is really eye-catching, featuring swirling colours of marble graphic which is a combination of blues and purples. Upon closer inspection, you will delighted to see the light blue stitching which gives the shoes even more depth. The attractive "Pink Foam" is again featured in the midsoles with Zoom Air bag in the forefoot for more adaptive and responsive cushioning. The outsole is decorated with a pink oval which magnifies the the Zoom Air bag, coupled with an abstract of blue and pink print that extends to the toe bumper and heel clip.
