While you are on vacation on an island, you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city right? Hence Tanjung Point Residences will be ideal for your relaxing holidays as it is not nestled in the bustling city center. Situated directly next to the sea, you can enjoy the relaxing sea breeze while listening to the waves crashing on the beach. I really appreciate the tranquility and serenity that helped to recharge my tired body and mind. Then again it is still strategically located, meaning that you can get to any tourist attractions easily.
Since we are still in the midst of the pandemic, we needed to adhere to the strict SOP as usual. The management of Tanjung Point Residences has really ensured that the safety of its guests is its number priority. Security guards and staff took our temperatures and made sure that we sanitize our hands before entering the hotel. While we were lining up to check in, physical distancing was practised as well. It is good to know that we can still have peace of mind while enjoying our holidays.

OMG...we were in awe of our beachfront stay!
After our registration and check-in, we literally rushed to our 2-bedroom apartment as we could not wait to see what our stay for the next 3 days would look like. Honestly, our expectations were really high as we were amazed by the pictures that we saw on the Internet. Once we pushed open our door, we knew that our staycation in Penang will be an unforgettable one. The apartment was so huge and spacious, making us feel so comfortable and at ease. My wife and kids were extremely ecstatic that they could stay in such an incredible place in Penang!

In the master bedroom, the plush, super-comfortable mattress was truly a bliss for both my wife and I. Indeed, we had a good night's sleep during our 3 days 2 nights staycation. The wooden floor finishing plus the lush carpeting really made every step in our apartment so much more enjoyable. Even the drapes were so opulent, adding that unmistakable luxurious and romantic touch for the guests. There were even mesh curtains to give you that added privacy if you still want to pull the curtains apart. There is even a TV in our master bedroom for us to watch TV.

Apart from the comfy bed and beautiful interior, the master bedroom has its very own en-suite bathroom which is really ritzy. The elaborate floor tiles really complement the ivory white sink. There is even a huge, wide mirror for all your vanity needs. Be it hot or cold, you can shower to your heart's content with the rainfall shower head that will make you feel unbelievably good. OMG! It felt like a paradise even when you are taking a shower. I had a great time in the bathroom for sure. Ha 😀

Jordan and Jasmine really had a whale of time in their very own huge bedroom as well. Inside, there were 2 equally plush and comfy single mattresses that will make you want to lie down the whole day; Just ask both of them. After jumping on their beds like trampoline (which they shouldn't), both of them happily enjoyed their rapturous shower. Obviously they truly had a great time staying in this beachfront apartment.

Like I have aforementioned, staying in Tanjung Point Residences really felt like home to us. If you do not feel like leaving this haven, you can stay indoors all day and cook your own meals thanks to the complete set of kitchenette. There is a big electric stove with hood, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, crockery and all the cutlery that you need. All you have to do is to buy a few ingredients and voila you can cook your meals and start enjoying them in this beautiful and comfortable apartment. *hint* we used the toaster and microwave a lot. 😋

Unlike a hotel, this 2-bedroom apartment of ours at Tanjung Point Residences has a crazy huge separate living area for us to chill in the cozy sofa while watching TV. Yupe! No more being crammed inside one single bedroom like a usual hotel. Hungry for some snacks? Just head over to the dining area to enjoy some quick bites and some coffee (for me). While my wife was preparing breakfast for us, our kids were happily watching cartoons on Astro; Yours truly me was busy doing some work using the blazing fast free complimentary Wi-Fi. In other words, we have so much space to do so many things in this accommodation of ours in Penang.

One of the highlights of staying in Tanjung Point Residences is its enormous breathtaking infinity pool overlooking the stunning beach filled beautiful clouds. Yes! You can swim while admiring the mesmerizing sea view. What is so awesome about this infinity swimming pool is the fact that it is 1 metre deep, allowing both children and adults to fully enjoy their swim. Both Jordan boy and Jasmine girl really, really loved their swimming sessions. However due to the strict SOP, each person could only swim for a maximum of 1 hour and there could only be 20 swimmers at one time in this gigantic infinity pool. They were sad when the security guard ask them to leave.

Staying in Penang for 3 days had allowed us to savour a lot of delicious food. Being known as the Pearl of the Orient, Penang is a melting pot for cuisines and delicacies from different cultures and countries. Of course we had so many lip-smacking feasts that expanded our waistlines quite a lot. LOL 😁 Fortunately there is a well-equipped gym in Tanjung Point Residences for us to shed away all those extra calories. It was a pleasure to run on the treadmill while taking in the picturesque scenery. I mean it is not every day that you get to lift those dumbbells right next to the sea, right? You will have the multigym, adjustable benches, wellness balls and yoga mats at your disposal. So clock in some workout before going out to enjoy more glorious food.

We felt really sad that we had to leave this beautiful and amazing accommodation of ours. Tanjung Point Residences is so good that we really wanted to extend our 3 Days 2 Nights stay. Unfortunately we had to head back to Melaka for work and for the kids to attend school. Equipped with everything that we need, this is by far one of the best places to stay in Penang if you ask me. You will appreciate the ample space, the huge infinity pool and of course the beautiful sea view that will mesmerize you for hours! We are definitely going to stay in Tanjung Point Residences again for our next visit in the future!

I think I only stayed in hotels for all my previous Penang trip. This place seem quite good, bookmarked and will put in consideration for next trip.
