Guess everyone is going ga-ga for a notch on their smartphones huh? So that it will look like an iPhone? The designers behind Redmi series think that it is a good idea to have notch display for their next device...or not. Apparently Redmi 6 Pro features a setting to adjust the notch...or in other words to hide the notch. It appears that the notch on Redmi 6 Pro can be turned off by adjusting the display of the device. Pretty smart if you ask someone like me who does not like the notch.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro in glorious Rose Gold hue for that elegant feminine touch.
Redmi 6 Pro is rumoured to feature a 5.84-inch 19.9 aspect ratio with Full HD+ resolution display (1080 x 2280 piexel) which is very similar to Huawei's very own mid range smartphone-Nova 3e. Flip it to the back Redmi 6 Pro retains the same Redmi Note 5 rear design which features the famous vertically aligned dual-camera set up that is unmistakably mighty similar to iPhone X's bump.
Don't like the notch on Redmi 6 Pro? Just turn it off. Yes...there is a "switch" for it. :D
The notch houses a 5MP front-selfie camera and the earpiece. At the back, the main rear shooter is a set up of 13MP+5MP dual-camera. Under the hood, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 625, complemented by 4GB of RAM (up to 6GB) and 32GB of internal storage (up to 64GB). In terms of battery, the device will most probably be juiced by 4,000mAh battery which charges via microUSB port at the bottom.
There are 5 different colours that you can choose from.
My personal favourite colour-Sand Gold
Masculine Black-the colour that men cannot go wrong with.
Flame Red for those who are flamboyant.
For those who want to get an iPhone X but feel it is too expensive, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro seems like a good alternative. Available in 5 different colours: Black, Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue and Flame Red, Redmi 6 Pro will be come with Android 8.1 Oreo and layered with Xiaomi MIUI 10. For those who can't wait, Redmi 6 Pro will be unveiled officially to the world on the 25th of June and will be priced competitively at around US$150 (RM600). So do you like the notch on Redmi 6 Pro? Remember that you can turn it off. :p
