Where Had I Gone?

If you guys have been visiting Tekkaus for the past few days, you must be wondering where have I been right? There's no updates or whatsoever right? No tweets, no pings, no comments...nothing...well...for the past few days...pretty much The Day Tekkaus Stood Still or sort! Tekkaus-the blog stood still, but Tekkaus-the person went to somewhere far, far away! Fret not, I'm back. Please forgive me for my absentees. My bad! My bad! You see, last Thursday (25th Dec 2008) was the last day I had any internet connection before I traveled 334 kilometres to meet my in-law. Yupe! No computer and wires for 6 straight days. Not bad actually! =)

I tried to squeeze my last blog post on Christmas, but obviously I didn't have suffice time to cough out anything. So that's why I didn't leave any trace of my whereabouts nor did I forewarn my departure. War...I make it sound so serious huh! =) Anyway, do you guys know where I went? Okay, I visited somewhere near...where all those ISA detainees are! Again, I repeat NEAR! Take your time to guess.

Anyway, did you guys enjoy your Christmas? Received lots of present? Where did you guys visit? This year's national Christmas was celebrated in Malacca right? Too bad I can't be part of 30,000 throngs of people who celebrated their Noel here in the Portueguese settlement! Did you guys went to feast your small tummy on loads of yummies? I'm sure most of you had a ball of time right? ONew year is just around the corner huh. Prepared your new year resolution? But I bet not many will follow suit what they will pledged~lar! *wink* ;)

Landed back in Malacca yesterday night. It's an energy-sapping journey for me and my wife! 8 hours on the road with some minor breaks for nature's calls. I think I almost had a "brokeback mountain"! Gosh! Both my wife's and my heads sure felt heavy this morning. We had to drag ourselves off the bed and struggled to our working place. Anyway, it's good to be at her home, somewhere secluded...somewhere serene and mind soothing! You guys should breakaway from everything once in a while too. Somewhere WIRELESS!
