Yupe, sure you guys know this wacky bunny right? And guess what? The carrot that he craze so much could actually be the answer why he's so happy always. Must be because of Bug's healthy heart!

Rabbit food may protect your heart. German scientists recently found out that eating beta-carotene can reduce your blood level of C-reactive protein (CRP), an important marker of cardiovascular-disease risk. In the study, men consumed eight servings of vegetables and fruits a day decreased their CRP levels by average 42 percent in 4 weeks. The catalyst? Beta-carotene, an antioxidant found in dark green and orange-yellow vegetables. Although the researches aren't sure of the exact amount of beta-carotene needed, you can boost your intake by regularly eating the top sources of the the nutrient: carrot, sweet potatoes and spinach!
