Who do you see?

A little boy and his father are hiking mountains. Suddenly the little kid falls and hurts himself.

In pain the boy screams: "Aaaaaaahhhhhh!"
To his surprise, he hears a voice repeating, "Aaaaaaahhhhhh!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer from the same voice: "Who are you?"
Angered at the response, he screams: "You coward!"
Again, he was replied: "You coward!"

The poor boy looks to his dad and asks: "Daddy, what's going on?"
The father smiles and says: "Son, pay attention."

Then he screams to the mountain "You are the best!"
The voice answers: "You are the best!"
Again he screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice retorts: "You are a champion!"

The little boy is surprised but does not understand. His father the explains: "People call this echo, but really my son, this is LIFE. It gives you back everything that you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of all our actions and thoughts. Life will give you back everything that you have given to it!

Our life is not a coincidence. Nothing happened by chance really: It's a reflection of ourselves! If we would like to know who's responsible for all the troubles, look no further, take a look in the mirror. It's time for us to stay out of our own way. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "It's impossible for man to be cheated by anyone but himself."

Stop looking only at where you are and start looking at what you can be. Be careful of where your mind wanders; your words and actions follow it. No one can defeat you unless you first defeat yourself. You carry with you the world in which you must live. Know this: When you have a great dream, your mind will be your biggest foe. Huge obstacles in your life? James Allen observed, "You are the handicap that you must face. You are the one who must choose your place."

Whatever you attach consistently to the words "I am," you will become!
