Your loused-up lumbar region may be yearning for you to do a few sun salutations a week. Why? Because it could help fix it them (those loused-up lumber region). According to a report in the Annals of Internal Medicine, yoga may relieve back pain. So there’s hope for those back sufferers!

Scientists studied 101 (Dalmations?) back-pain sufferers as they participated weekly in either one 75-minute yoga class or a 75-minute strength class (both done at home). After 26 weeks, yoga students felt less pain and used few pain relievers than the exercising group. Hmm…why is that? WHY?

The answer is: viniyoga. Researchers believe certain principles unique to viniyoga-the style used in the study may have made it more effective. By practicing yoga, you learn to pay attention to your body, your breathing, and what movements irritate your back.”

So guys, before signing up for a yoga class see a doctor to rule out spine or disk disease. Enjoy your yogurt okay! Opps, I mean Yoga!
