Two years ago, we saw the introduction of Bose' very first eyewear that is equipped with speakers. The company then went on to release the second generation of its speaker-equipped glasses last year. Fast forward to 2021 and now Razer Anzu smart glasses with Bluetooth speaker and blue light filtering. Yes! You read it right. Not only will this pair of glasses come with speakers, but also with blue light lenses.
Razer Anzu Smart Glasses With Bluetooth Speaker And Blue Light Filtering
It is obvious that Razer has designed Anzu for those who are exposed to digital displays most of the time, be it a smartphone, tablet or computer. Dubbed as the "Protect your eyes and immerse your ears," so now you can enjoy the best of both world for your eyes and ears. This pair of music-playing smart glasses from Razer will be equipped with blue light lenses that can filter up to 35% of the harmful blue light that will be damaging to your eyes.
Smart Glasses with Built-in Speakers
There is also an omnidirectional microphone
So if you are using your digital devices a lot then you will appreciate this pair of smart glasses. Thanks to the blue light lenses your eye strain can be reduced and that means you (your eyes) will feel refreshed all day long. When you are eyes are in good condition, you can focus on your important tasks while enjoying your music.
Razer Anzu can filter out 35% of blue light
Protect your eyes while enjoying music at the same time!
Out of the box, Razer Anzu Smart Glasses look almost like any other conventional spectacles you can get at your optometrist. However, the frame does look a wee bit wider at the temples as you have to build all the music-playing tech inside of them right? Do you know that there is an omnidirectional microphone inside this pair of smart glasses? Wow! So you can use Razer Anzu for teleconferencing or while making video calls such as Zoom Meeting and Google Meet? Awesome! 😮
Activate your voice assistant with Razer Anzu
Paired with Bluetooth 5.1, buttery smooth and stutter-free audio can be delivered right to your ears thanks to its amazingly low 60ms latency. Should you need to control the volume of the music, skip to the next song or pause, the touch panels on the sides will enable you to control each of the smart glasses operations. Besides accepting and rejecting calls, you can also activate your voice assistant with Razer Anzu. That's what we call hands-free right?
Razer Anzu has an IPX rating
Those stylish, I do expect the casing to be more protective, no?
You will be happy to note that Razer Anzu comes with IPX4 standard which means water splashes, raining and your sweat will not hamper its operation. In terms of battery life, you will only get up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge which might not be sufficient. To address this shortcoming, the smart glasses will automatically be switched off when the frame is folded up. Similarly, it will be turned on when it detects the frame being flipped open.
Razer Anzu can transform into your Sunglasses
Razer Anzu Smart Glasses will be ideal for gamers and those who want to watch movies for a couple of hours. Interestingly, Razer has made it possible to change the blue light lenses into polarized protective sunshade lenses if you want to go outdoors. How about those who are already wearing normal glasses? Beats me! Razer Anzu will be available in two different sizes of large and small as well as 2 distinct shapes of rectangular and round. Anzu comes with a price tag of US$199.99 (RM800). I wonder whether it would be sold out. Will many ppl buy it?
