Sometimes you tried very, very hard to be someone you are not supposed to be! Yes, you tried in vain to be someone else. You wanted to look like the most popular girl in the school by having the same hair cut; you wanted to be the hottest guy in the office by imitating the other popular guy's antics! You wanted to be anyone but yourself! It's such an irony. Why? Don't you know that God created you to be unique? You are one in a zillions. Yes! Although the only constant in this world is change...but sometimes...something are not meant to be changed.

So don't be a copycat!

Sometimes we should really be grateful with our ourselves. Some of us like to complain all the time. It's time we really ponder and stop for a moment. It's time to stop complaining and start counting our blessings. Sometimes...the best thing to do is to stay the same. Yes. You need to accept yourself; you need to look at the mirror...and cherish the person you are. Be grateful of what you have. :)

A decade ago...

This week's Music Monday, I decided to choose Joey Mcintyre's Stay The Same. This is one of my favourite songs of all time. I clearly remember myself singing to it when I was in secondary school. This song was first aired in 1998. Wow! That's like more than a decade ago right? And do you know that Joey McIntyre had to fork out his own money to record his first solo album-Stay The Same? Eventually he managed to land himself a recording deal and this song, rose into the Billboard Top 100 and peaked at No.10#! Talking about perseverance huh!
